Unlike MLS systems that opted into the NAR settlement, MLSPIN will continue to publish “agency to agency compensation” [not seller to buyer broker compensation as previously reported] starting Thursday, but the fields will no longer be required inputs.
Seller to buyer broker compensation fields will NOT be added until Q4.
Existing listings in MLSPIN will retain their current data, including agency to agency compensation information.
Which begs the question, as of August 17th, if you’re a Realtor, do you need to change your listings so that you are no longer offering compensation on the MLSPIN to be compliant with the NAR settlement?
Remember I’m not your lawyer, I’m not a lawyer at all.
